Cernium System keeps failing

Hi All,

I'm temporarily removing this post while my attorney takes steps to convince Cernium to issue an RMA to accept the return of their system.

I'm hoping to have this resolved soon.

Update: Hi all, Due to the lack of response from Cernium as it relates to the taking back of their non working system, I will repost my original information with updates shortly.

I will contact Cernium in the next week, to notify them of the reposts. I expect to post it on or about 8-15-08.

Hi, to be honest with you we have never had a problem with the software. We have an installation in the UK that "Touch Wood" has never required an engineer to visit.

If you could let us know the problem we might know the answer.

Hey

They had lots of problems with the video cards. The info on that is everywhere, you just gotta look.

There was a guy named Martin Spence with their company that has posted in tech blogs looking for help in getting the cards to work.

His title I think was VP of something like Operations.

Not sure why he was looking for help online instead of from his own developers or engineers, but it sounds like a good place to get the info you need.

Just google "martin spence" "cernium" "sean liming" and newbie and you'll get what you need. Martin's postings were titled newbie needs help or something like that. Not bright considering the situation you guys have now.

On some blogs, you gotta get those yourself, I don't want to post, you'll see the same question but he has his directory structure listed which shows it's on a cernium system.

Can anyone point me to a step by step for importing a device driver? =
I've read Windows XP Embedded Advanced and their examples work =
flawlessly - I guess the real work is different? The one .inf that did =
import was the intel Pro 100VE and that gave me an enormous number of =
components - some grayed out and some blue - still pondering the =
significance of the grayed out - anyone know that little nugget of info?

The greyed out components mean that these components are already in the =
database. Concordance IDs can be ignored. Failures are a different story =
depending on the failure - missing INF files need to be in the same path =
as the imported INF, where registry and other sectional data can be =
ignored.
