Yehud, Israel (December 3, 2007) - MATE Intelligent Video, the leader in intelligent video surveillance technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. UriEngelhard as its new Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Engelhard will focus on strategically positioning the company through a well-defined and executed development plan that will ultimately deliver value for our customers.
Dr. Engelhard brings extensive experience and knowledge of the security industry to MATE, and his appointment will lead the company forward in its next phase of development. Dr. Engelhard served as a Brigadier General in the Israeli Police Force heading the Technologies Branch for 6 years, and was responsible for the information and computer systems, the electronic and technological processes, and the communication technologies.
Prior to his position with the Israeli Police Force, Dr. Engelhard, who holds a PhD degree in Business Administration, held positions including Chairman, CEO, and Senior Manager at Israeli hi-tech companies such as Sapiens Israel, Amdocs and Tadiran Information Systems.
